- 1. I can’t stop until it IS perfect ~ it needs to be perfect - it needs to be polished up or punched up ~ I don’t think its good enough yet - is that anal or what? ~ why am I agonizing over this? ~ I’m trying my best but it isn’t good enough.
- 5. I say it DOES have to be perfect! ~ it has to be perfect or I don’t do it ~ I wish I could be the one to put the finishing touches on it ~ my feelings are running high right now.
- 7. why can’t everyone be like me - I’m perfect ~ my idea of roughing it is no room service.
- 8. don’t touch me there ------ feel someone will notice personal flaws ~ don’t want to express self in tangible terms for fear that it won’t be good enough or will lead to susceptibility ~ don’t want to be touched ~ want to hug someone but the situation is never appropriate ~ want to be treated very gently ~ feel a need to be perfect.

- don’t insist that everyone be like you ~ loosen up - stop trying to be so real all the time ~ don’t be such a primma-donna ~ stop fiddling with it - a true artist knows when to stop ~ don’t be so afraid of touching or being touched ~ don’t be afraid to express yourself in tangible terms ~ don’t be so picky about who you love ~ don’t obsess over perfect appearance.
- trust me - it doesn’t have to be perfect! ~ liposuction or plastic surgery is not the answer ~ you are more talented than you realize.
- flattery is the bridle and bit with which you may drive the vain ~ the moment the skill of the artist is perceived - the spell of the art is broken ~ beauty is a frail advantage ~ beauty is but skin deep ~ beauty vanishes - virtue endures ~ good looks buy nothing in the market ~ to marry a woman for her beauty is like buying a house for its paint ~ no fine clothes can hide the clown ~ those who live on vanity must expect to die of mortification.
