The Patterns...

• • THE MODEL IN SPACE... TIME • •

As we search for isomorphic correlations between our model and real life, the question of how the model behaves in space, and time, becomes an issue. Previously we used the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze diagram, and the Cosmic Engine analogy, to explain how the model ‘breaths’. Now, these ideas will be helpful in explaining how time moves through our model, or, how our model moves through time!

• SPACESHIP ME! •

Previously, we eluded to the idea that our model was not only an entity, but also an event in time. In theory, events in time are as tangible in form as any physical manifestation, when compared to the sea of random possibilities they emerge from.

Chaos and Order - or “Who ordered this chaos?”

Earlier, we discussed the idea of balance and flux existing simultaneously within an entity. This idea evolved from the law of opposites, and cycles of broken symmetry vs. restored balance. When the law of sequence was developed, it revealed that all parts of any cycle governed by a law of opposites are always simultaneously or alternately in and out of balance with each other. If we consider ourselves as parts of a universal cycle, we must conclude that in fact we too are simultaneously in and out of balance with each other at all times. As parts of a cycle that are simultaneously in and out of balance with each other, we are like planets and stars. As we move through space, we find that we are simultaneously the center of our own universe as well as an external element of each others universe. In other words, as I see it, I am an ordered system and you are a random element that may or may not enter my universe, or sphere of influence. But, from your point of view, you are an ordered system and I am a random element that may or may not enter your universe. Thus we conclude that if we are both individual entities, as well as elements of larger entities, we must also consider ourselves to be, ordered systems that are part of each others external chaos. Therefore I am both ordered and random at the same time - and so are you.

As we move through space, we find that we are simultaneously the center of our own universe as well as an external element of each others universe.

In all our 1 through 9 progressions, we have shown how motion governs existence. Now we must examine the results of moving an ordered system, like our model, through the chaotic environment that surrounds it! For this we will again use the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze diagram to plot the path of our passage through time, as we wax and wane our way through its companion element, that of space.

To plot our passage through time, we must first imagine ourselves as the model in space, and in the process, observe how... In my sphere, there is order. In my path there is chaos. At point ‘A’ I am ordered and my outsides are random. However, if I move to point ‘B’ I find myself entering into the random environment around me, like a fish in water. And, like a fish in water, consuming randomness (1,2,3), making it into order (4,5,6) and leaving it behind me as randomness (7,8,9).

Like a fish in water, consuming randomness (1,2,3), making it into order (4,5,6), and leaving it behind me as randomness (7,8,9).

In conclusion, we see how each model is an ordered system of mechanical design, capable of change, and indeed dependent upon change. But, like the fish in water, it cannot break free of the fact that it is connected to the concept of destiny, held within the random surroundings that contain it. In other words, our ‘fish in water’ cannot leave the confines of his watery universe without ceasing to exist. While at the same time, within the water he can do nothing but exist. By using our model and number line to describe the progress of events in time, we imply that in fact there is no ‘thing’ in the universe that remains eternal, and that all ‘things’ must ultimately be viewed as either waxing or waning on some scale or measure of time.

• TIME •

We have already mentioned how the 1 through 9 progressions of numerology draw in time and motion, like a fish passing water over its gills, only to exhaust this fuel as energy and space displaced. In examining this idea further, we will now combine this idea, with the linear diagram of the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze, to approach a form of time that is coaxial to the model.

One of the most intriguing phenomenon of relativity, and its ‘equally valid viewpoints’, is the inability of any one point of view to be a definitive reference point to all others. In other words, in zero gravity it is impossible to determine if a passing object is moving or still, or whether you are the one who is moving. . .or still - “Am I moving through space or is space moving through me?” As I see it, this idea of indeterminable motion is yet another example of the law of opposites, wherein each entity can be both a stationary point of reference (balanced) while at the same time a moving object through space (flux). When we apply this idea of indeterminable motion, to its companion element of time, the statement is repeated: “Am I moving through time, or is time moving through me.”

The Path of Time

In the model, it seems that time only has meaning when it is thought of as an element of creation surrounding a mass of definition. As a consecutive concept of concentric containment, we must now ask the most important question of time at hand; is time really a dimension we traverse, or is it more a commodity we consume (in our cosmic engine)?

To most people, time is a dimension, a fourth dimension, a dimension that extends in a direction a three dimensional mind cannot begin to visualize. One way to attempt a visualization of the path of time is through mathematical equations that include a fourth dimensional axis without ever having to diagram that axis on paper or in three dimensional space. Another way to visualize the path of time is through the stages of our model.

There are two distinct ways to visualize how time effects the model. The first is the linear example which diagrams time as a commodity of consumption (as in the cosmic engine). When combined with our thoughts on genetic integrity and scaling of number lines, this linear example becomes very useful to visualizing the path of time (see scaling). The other way to visualize time is with the spherical example, which tends to think of time as an imploding and exploding process, through the mass of an existing entity.

In analyzing the path of time, the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze diagram is once again a useful tool. Here we see how the intake valve of the funneling 2, draws in the fuel of nothingness by breaking the symmetry of the stagnant point (1). In doing so, the 2/8 funnel becomes a motivator of sorts, creating for us the companion elements of time and motion. As companion elements, time and motion are drawn in as part of the 1,2,3 trinity of primary development. However as lines of force build, critical intolerance is eventually achieved within the model (see orgasmic 8), and time and motion become expelled as energy and space, in the 7,8,9 trinity of expression. In this example of time (a linear example), the point of entry and point of exit are at opposite ends from each other. Because of this, we see how the linear path of time resembles an automobile engine, with the carburetor up front and the exhaust in the rear. Thus as the combustion chamber of the 4/5/6 mass converts time into space and motion into energy, the model is propelled through its environment - like the fish in water.

This linear example is of course a gross simplification of a much more complex process - the process of implosion and explosion within the spherical steps of coagulation. When viewed spherically, time and motion become concentric concepts of relative incomprehensibility, sequentially removed from that of infinity... found in the 1/9 sphere.

The Cosmic Sneeze

In describing the spherical path of time , we might be tempted to compare the act of implosion and explosion to our own lungs, - implosion being equivalent to a cosmic inhale, and explosion a cosmic exhale - or a cosmic sneeze! A cosmic inhale would be equivalent to the act of coagulation, and the exhale - or sneeze, would represent the source of our own big bang. However, in this analogy, this is where the similarity to our lungs ends.

In our discussion of imploding coagulation, the subsequent explosion of the mass was not to be considered as a reverse of implosion but as a continuation of a total cycle. So unlike our lungs, implosion and explosion do not alternate back and forth, but instead traverse a common ground in opposite directions, with a continuous flow of force, in peristaltic, wave-like configuration, creating pockets of interference at the individual stages of our models concentric spheres (see interference). Thus the perpetual metamorphic change through an entity, gives us the illusion of time as a direction or dimension to be traversed, when in reality it appears to be more like a commodity that is consumed. As time becomes viewed as a commodity of consumption, we can see how passing through the stages of the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze diagram resembles a passage through a cosmic digestive system of time!

The Big Donut

With the digestion analogy, we can see how the cosmic food of infinity that we eat represents our fuel of life (1/9), while the oral cavity that takes in that food becomes the funnel or intake valve (2/8). Next, the esophagus is seen as the connecting tunnel (3/7) to the stomach (4/6). The stomach, and other digestive components, then become the (4/5/6) maze of metamorphic change.

Is time a dimension we traverse, or a commodity we consume?

Of course we all know what happens next! Energy is removed from the food and remains are pushed out with peristaltic conviction to the exiting funnel behind us.

Thus when we apply the idea of peristaltic conviction to our theories on ‘time as a commodity to be consumed,’ we are able to explain the seemingly one directional bias of time through us all. In the model, this condition of peristaltic traverse makes time a one way event of nature.

Additionally, if we consider the idea of passing through a body as a continuous flow of content, we can see how a digestive tract takes on the form of a hole bored through our bodies. This of course means, that for all intents and purposes, we are all just big donuts!

The coaxial cones of the mobius/magnetosphere are like an hourglass, where time becomes focused on the finite mass within. Time is consumed and digested. Time bores a hole through us, making us all cosmic donuts! - Mmmmm, donuts.

Beads on a String

Of course being a big donut may be a bit disturbing to some. But the beauty of this idea is in how it resembles the form of the model itself. If you recall, the model is governed by the properties of the spherical mobius. The shape of the spherical mobius was compared to the magnetosphere of the Earth. The magnetosphere of the Earth was described as a sphere that collapses at its poles into cone-like structures that converge upon a center along a spiraling axis that represented a mobius twist. The magnetosphere itself is a big donut! The cones of the magnetosphere, and the allegorically equivalent funnels of the Funnel, Tunnel, Maze diagram, suggest to us that the proper way for time to pass through the model is through these coaxial cones. The coaxial cones are like an hourglass, where time becomes focused on the finite mass within.

Finally, by re-introducing the idea of indeterminable motion, to the idea of passing through a big donut with a linear diagram of progress, we can see how the segmented steps of the Funnel, Tunnel and Maze diagram begin to resemble a series of beads with a string of time flowing through them, separating future from past with an endless and perpetual metamorphosis of form.

Like beads on a string, time passes through the stages of the Funnel, Tunnel, Maze diagram.

When this idea is translated back again, to our three dimensional model, we can see how indeed the model itself becomes one giant bead on a similar string of time, providing the same end result! (again, a gross 2D oversimplification of a much more complex idea). This being so, we find that trying to determine the nature of time and motion, and whether it is devoured or fed through, is much like trying to determine whether this giant bead of metamorphosis is moving over the string of time, or whether the string of time is moving through the bead!! Thus the bead on the string becomes the path of time.

If the Funnel, Tunnel, Maze diagram is like beads on a string, then the spherical model it represents is like one big bead on a string!

The bead on the string is the path of time. However, when we twist that string like a mobius strip, the shape of time and destiny boggles the mind!

The Shape of Time

As a three dimensional model, many people chose to diagram the shape of time by focusing on how it affects a single moment in the present. This idea is usually diagramed with a configuration known as the light cones of space/time. In the light cone diagram, an indeterminable future converges upon a single, infinitesimal moment in time and exits as an accumulated past. Because there are no one way valves of peristalsis in this light cone theory, many chose to contemplate retrocausal possibilities within any given moment of time, giving time a directionless nature. Outside the light cones is an indeterminable area labeled ‘elsewhere’. This is considered the domain of all events that occur outside the particular universe in question, an area beyond time.

Because of the similarities between the light cone idea and our big donut, mobius/magnetosphere shape, we might consider incorporating it fully into our own model. To do this, let’s imagine the base of the light cones (the open ends) as being bent around to a point where they meet each other and connect, at the equator, into the mobius/magnetosphere shape. In other words, whereas the mobius/magnetosphere was described as a sphere that collapses at its poles into cone shaped structures that converge upon a center, the light cones might now be viewed as cones that expand from a center into a mobius/magnetosphere shape. In this adaptation, the remains of ‘elsewhere’ must now be viewed as equivalent to the equatorial absentia which created the lines of force responsible for rings around our planetary model. Because of this, these rings are now given additional meaning as they come to represent to us a collar of sorts, dividing the future and past of every entity/event in nature

Relative Levels of Incomprehensibility

Now that we have combined the light cones theory into the form of our model, we can draw many interesting conclusions about the shape of time and how it affects us in our tarot universe. First of all, we can conclude the existence of peristaltic entropy and give time a theoretical direction. Because of our theories about destiny we can safely say that future is future, and past is past, but because they both exist within the chaos found outside the affected mass, they are essentially identical, in the same way as point and sphere. In other words, the chaotic result of plotting the path of every possible future, is identical to the chaotic result that would occur in the plotting of every single past. Thus time, like infinity, is conserved and only made to change form as it passes through the stages of our model and the ‘event’ of converging light cones (the 4/5/6 combustion chamber of the cosmic engine).

The chaotic result of plotting the path of every possible future is identical to the chaotic result that would occur in the plotting of every single past. Thus time, like infinity is conserved and only made to change form as it passes through the stages of our model.

The past is finite, like the point. The future is expansible or open, like the outward bounds of the sphere, thereby making them essentially the same. Because of this, we see how concepts like future and past, and time and destiny only have meaning within the 4/5/6 mass of the model, the area we call reality - as defined by the 3/7 skin of physical dimensions and contained by the 2/8 atmosphere of space/time (see geometric progression, and planetary models).

In the steps of creation, time and motion are the im-ploding concepts, while energy and space are the ex-ploding result. As these concepts converge and diverge from the confines of the model, they are seen as, and described with, the same theoretical ‘sphere of influence’ - the 2/8. In this way our perception of them as separate concepts becomes altered. Thus, as relative levels of incomprehensibility progressively enclose us, the oneness of the 3/7 sphere ultimately combines these ideas, in our finite minds, to a single concept - space/time. Because of this we can see how space/time becomes a fourth dimension of relative incomprehensibility, beyond that of the three dimensions of reality (an illusion?).

As the contemplative mind attempts to think outside it’s ‘box’, each sphere of our model represents a point of transition, beyond which we we encounter ever increasing levels of incomprehensibility. As we grope to understand these concepts we encounter a very real and relatable example of diminishing returns as each stage of development becomes just a bit less comprehensible than the last.

The mobius/magnetosphere/light cones converge on a single point within the 3/7 environment of three dimensions - the 4/5/6 combustion chamber of the mass. This is where the metamorphosis occurs between future and past. The ‘event’ of ‘time,’ within this single moment, is the process of the 4/5/6 exchange of time and motion for energy and space. Like oxygen for dioxide, the infinitesimal in-betweeness of the model’s center equates with the alveolus of the lungs where starved blood cells are replenished by the induction of the surrounding atmosphere and then exhausted as waste. At the heart of the model, the alternating five negotiates this exchange between time and motion, and energy and space, with a speed and efficiency equal to the pulsing cosmic light waves in the center of distant galaxies, thereby giving time and space a smooth continuity of flow. In a human, this metamorphosis of time for energy gives us a sensation of progress and makes time passing feel endless, while still directional. When combined with 3/7 one way valves of peristaltic propulsion, time begins to feel like a dimension we can grasp. When placed on a semiplano surface like the earth, it begins to feel down right linear, as in ‘from here to there.’ But in the end, the twist of the mobius effect, and the idea of concentric spheres of diminishing comprehensibility, prevents us from ever making any real sense out of time. Because of this, time will forever elude us on the scale of relative incomprehensibility, and forever contain us as a consecutive concept of concentric containment.

If you choose to continue with this study, we will move on to explore further, the effects of paradox on our perceptions of the universe around us.
