Scanners don't come with 8x10 transparency holders, so I made one!
It grips the film, then the adjustment bolts (shown enlarged) pull the film taut.

I made another one with a completely different design, for a different scanner,
but I didn't get any pictures of it before leaving.
It used a wedging device between bolted sides.
