Animations

.
I made this animation for fun, while working at Design Access. Our logo was a silhouette of a running man. I turned it into this monkey and made him run. It was done in Director. I lost the original, but found this QuickTime movie. It's a little blurry because it wouldn't run on a web page. So I resaved it from iMovie. It got a little distorted too, but you get the idea - I have some animating ability. I would enjoy expanding on that talent in my next job.   I made this animation for the opening of a presentation. I lost the original and only have this chunky pixelated version, which I also had to run through iMovie, so it too is a little distorted. It's also missing the soundtrack, but you get the idea - I have some "Ken Burns" ability!

Here is an animation to show how a screw picks up adhesive while entering into concrete.   Here is an animation to show how an expansion feature works to keep a bolt in place even though it cracked the concrete.

I've played around with 3D programs in the past. Here is an animation I did in an early version of Infini-D. There was no "simulated gravity" feature - that's all me... simulating gravity, as the ball bounces down each step.   Here is another animation I did with Infini-D. I got this design for a desk that is cut out of a single piece of 4x8 plywood from a book. I made some modifications of my own and have built several of them. So I thought I'd make a movie showing how it's done.
